We are pleased to announce the nomination of Sandra Claro, Sylvie Maestri and Jessica Ott as new partners. As part of BDO Luxembourg's growth strategy, they strengthen the team of partners together with the recent arrival of Edoardo Battista Ancora.

 

          

Sandra Claro - Payroll Services

Sandra Claro graduated in administrative and commercial management joined the "Secrétariat Social" of "Compagnie Fiduciaire" in 1992, which later became "BDO Tax & Accounting," an entity of the BDO group in Luxembourg. Sandra has acquired broad experience in the administrative management of employees and payroll from different employee’s statuses and business lines. The active participation in the payroll software development "Payease.net" and the implementation of other HR management tools has increased her analytical and synthesis skills. She will be responsible for the "Payroll" range, where BDO is the market leader in Luxembourg. In particular, she will be in charge of the client guidance, Payroll team Leadership and the business development strategy.

 

Sylvie Maestri - Tax Regulatory Services

Sylvie Maestri is a tax expert specializing in advising financial institutions. She joined BDO Luxembourg in 2011, after having worked for 7 years with a Big 4 and 12 years in the banking business. She is in charge of the Tax Regulatory Services team at BDO Luxembourg.

Sylvie is more particularly in charge of tax regulatory projects, specifically the U.S. Qualified Intermediary (QI) regime, the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) as well as any other associated subjects.

Sylvie is also a member of working groups within the "ABBL" (Luxembourg Banker's Association) and "ALFI" (Luxembourg Investment Funds Association) in charge of issues relating to American taxation and automatic information exchange.

 

Jessica Ott - Audit & Assurance Services

Certified auditor and graduate of an International Finance Master's degree from the University of Metz, Jessica Ott started her professional career at BDO in Luxembourg in 2011 after 3 years spent with a Big4.

Jessica has over 10 years of audit experience, in particular for international groups and private equity vehicles. She is involved in both statutory and consolidated audits.

 

Edoardo Battista Ancora - Advisory - Corporate Finance

Edoardo Battista Ancora has joined BDO Advisory as a partner to promote BDO's offer in Luxembourg in the area of "Corporate Finance." Edoardo Battista has been working on a diversified customer portfolio in the Corporate Finance department of two major companies in Italy and Luxembourg.

A graduate of Bocconi University in Milan and holds a Master of Science in Business Administration, Edoardo Battista is an experienced corporate finance professional with 18 years' experience in high value-added services, such as M&A consulting, business valuation and due diligence mandates. Its main sectors of activity include multinational and local companies, institutional investors and wealth management for high net worth individuals.
