BDO in Luxembourg has the pleasure of announcing the arrival of Gérard Zolt and Rafael Aguilera as new associates at the beginning of 2022. As part of BDO Luxembourg’s growth strategy, they will provide the highest quality services to our clientele.

BDO Luxembourg has launched Forensic, Integrity & Compliance Services to offer a whole new range of assistance and expertise to our clients managing quite complex legal and regulatory obligations, thus complementing our other services propositions.

Especially, this new supplementary service will allow us to assist you, be it in a preventive or a reactive matter, on the topics linked to economic sanctions, anti-bribery & corruption, fraud and unethical behaviours, litigation support, franchise & IP as well as transactions forensics.

As such, Gérard Zolt joins BDO Luxembourg in order to lead this new service offering. Gérard is considered as one of the most experienced experts on the market, having successfully operated in this field since the 90s, first at government level and then in senior positions in Luxembourg and abroad.

Rafael Aguilera – Fund Distribution & Regulatory Consulting
BDO Luxembourg has decided to launch Funds Distribution& Regulatory Consulting services to offer our clients an additional service offering in its efforts to support client in complex duties in asset management.

Rafael has over 20 years of professional experience in the Luxembourg asset management and financial services industries. He has considerable experience advising asset managers and other fund initiators with the design, regulatory approval, marketing and restructuring of their investment products, including the full range of Luxembourg regulated and unregulated alternative investment funds.

Prior to joining the firm, Rafael worked within the asset management industry for nearly 6 years and within the advisory practice of Big 4 firms for almost 15 years.
