Profit-Sharing Premium (prime participative)

In late 2020, the law on the state budget for income and expenses for the financial year 2021 established the option for employers to grant their employees a profit-sharing premium. This premium is exempted by 50%, if certain conditions are met.

As per January 2021, employers will be able to grant profit-sharing premiums. Even if some questions remain, the tax authorities provided recently clarifications in a circular and an FAQ.
